Dr. Mahadi Harris Datuk Hj. Murshidi

Prior to his return to Malaysia in 2010 after 34 years of successful career in the United States, Dr. Mahadi was the Deployment Director for a Merger & Acquisition group that specializes in telecommunication infrastructures and Internet technologies with a career spanning more than 25 years. He is an expert in the design and delivery of cost-effective, high performance information technology infrastructures. He started and managed three successful IT companies during the dot-com-boom, where his passion for investment, acquisition and venture capital began.

Dr. Mahadi was the former CEO for Common Tower Technologies Sdn. Bhd. (CTTSB), a ‘State Backed Company’ for the State of Sabah. One of his prime objectives was to build and transform CTTSB into a dynamic company via strategic partnership, Investments and acquisition. One of his major milestones, he was the brain-child behind the RM70 million international submarine cable the Labuan-Brunei Cable systems or LBC. The LBC system is to cater Sabah’s Internet traffic needs for international capacity via Brunei Darussalam linking to three international gateways AAG, SJC and SMW3. In three short years, under his direction, CTTSB today own close to 300 telecommunication towers, 1800km network of fiber optic and the 64km subsea submarine cable linking Sabah to Brunei.

In September 2017, Mahadi was engaged by Cahya Mata Sarawak Bhd (CMSB) as their new Chief of Technology & Digital Innovation. He is responsible in setting forward the digital transformation in CMS. Mahadi seats on the Board of Kenyalang AeroSpace Sdn. Bhd., one of the first few Malaysian owned aerospace companies involve in Low Orbit Satellite (LOS).

His early career for such companies as IBM, AT&T, Juniper Networks, California Risk Management Authority, Hilton Hotels Corporation and California State University Regent has contributed to their dynamic growth. Mahadi is an affluent public speaker and motivator. He has a strong passion and led studies on issues of environmental economic policies, geo-political and technologies. He did his post graduate and earned his doctorate in Education with emphasis in Educational Mathematic Science &Technology (EMST) from University of California, Berkeley and holds both MBA and BA degrees in Applied Economics from the University of San Francisco, California.

Dr. Mahadi is the Founder and Director of Borneo Telkom Sdn. Bhd, a tier1 infrastructure and telecommunication provider. His primary responsibility is to invest/venture into telecommunication infrastructures which include telecom towers, fibre optics, subsea cable systems, datacenter and international-domestic Internet gateways.

Wan Mohalina Wan Mohammad

Wan Mohalina Wan Mohammad is Executive Director and major shareholder of iFIBER Holdings. iFIBER Holdings subsidiary, iFIBER Sdn Bhd, VEVE Telecom and iGG Arena Esports based in Cyberjaya are next generation telecommunication company providing gigabit open access fiber network and delivery service platform for Service Provider to deliver gigabit broadband services in Malaysia.

She start her career after graduate as Sales Representative with Mesiniaga Berhad in 1994 and in-charge of sales and marketing of IBM computers and product line for corporate customers.

Prior to joining the Company, she was the Business Development Director of Kontron Manufacturing Services Sdn Bhd, a German based manufacturing company in Penang. While with Kontron, she is responsible for the development, start-up and growth of a Business Development and Customer service team responsible for managing key international start up accounts such as Avocent, Kontron, Brillian, Jeol and WorldAccxx. Responsible as key driver in formulating quote process involving Kontron various sites in Europe, Canada and the USA.

She have involved in Business Development, Operation, Finance and Marketing for the last 25 years. Wan Mohalina earned her degree in Accounting and Financial Management from Essex University, United Kingdom. Wan Mohalina had been selected as Finalist as Best Women Technoprenuer for NEF-Awani Astro ICT Award in 2015.

Shaharin Saman

Shaharin Saman is the CEO of iFIBER Holdings Sdn Bhd. Shaharin has more than 20 years’ experience in ICT industry and has worked with Multinational companies such as Texas Instrument Malaysia, Hewlett-Packard Sales Malaysia, Sapura Group of Companies, Kemet Electronics Singapore and State GLC.

Shaharin started as an Entreprenuer when he set-up the first assembly factory that design and produce VCD Player motherboard for export to China and become the first Malaysia company given pioneer status by MIDA that design and assemble VCD player locally. He also involved in marketing Lithium Polymer battery for Samsung hand phone. He setup VOL Asia as MSC Status Company in 1998, first software company developing first halal online browser for Malaysia and Middle East market.

Shaharin first involved in FTTH infrastructure project when become CEO of Kedah ICT Holding where he responsible designing Kedah State ICT blue print and fibre infrastructure for Municipal Network as new business for State government. He later acquired the company in 2012 and change name to Fiber@Home. He transform Fiber@Home to be a leading FTTH company for property developer with innovative solution for major property developers such as Sunway Properties, SP Setia Properties, Mah Sing Properties, Tropicana Corporation, UMLand, EMKAY Group and many more.

Shaharin won Azizan Osman Titanum Circle Best Technology Enterprenuer Award 2018 and finalist for the Best Netpreneur ICT Award 2001, organized by MIMOS and for the Venture 2002 Award, organized by Mckinsey & Co. He graduated in Electrical Engineering from University Technology of Malaysia.

Rizal Hakim

Rizal Hakim, born 1978, is the Chief Financial Officer and shareholder of iFIBER Holdings Sdn Bhd. He oversees Business Development, Corporate Finance and fund raising portfolio in general.

Rizal is the second generation of Felda Settlers family at Felda Raja Alias 4, Negeri Sembilan and graduated with a Bachelors Degree (Hons) in Business Administration, majoring in Finance from University of Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN).

After his graduation in the year 2002, he served 4 years at Malaysian Industrial Development Finance Berhad (MIDF) as Project Executive. During this employment, he gained valuable experience in marketing, financing structuring, evaluating credit proposals, project risk assessments as well as debt monitoring among his corporate clients.

He is very experienced and has been involved in various assignments of both debt and equity capital raising, project feasibility and investment studies, corporate merger and acquisition, as well as corporate matchmaking. To date, he has solid networking with large financial institutions and equity investment companies based in Malaysia, Singapore, the Middle East and Europe.

Joshua Tan

Joshua Tan, is the Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Technology Office. Joshua is graduate with Master degree of Studies/Administration/Management from Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK and Degree in Marketing from University of Wales Trinity Saint David. Joshua had been involved in telecommunication industry and facility maintenance for more than 15 year.

Joshua started his career as Senior Project Manager in 1994 with Yeoh Chan Engineering Sdn Bhd involved in construction industry, then he moved to Aggressive Technologies Sdn Bhd as Sales & Marketing Manager and later joined Hunter and Partner (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd as Business Development Consultant. In May 2012, Joshua joined KFM Systems Sdn Bhd as Business Development Manager where KFM involved in building automation system, security system, SMATV, Facilities Management, Fiber to the Premises and Telecommunication infrastructure. Current project are Prime Minister Office in Putrajaya, Putrajaya Government Complex ,Alor Setar Court House, E&) Avira, UEM Sunrise and TNB.

In Sept 2013, Joshua join Fiber At Home City Network Sdn Bhd as Vice President of Business Development to oversea and expand company business in telecommunication high speed broadband (HSBB) deployment in new and existing property development. During his tenure with Fiber@Home, Joshua manage to secure major contract with Sunway Properties, SP Setia, Tropicana Properties, UEM Land Berhad and many more property developers.

He was appointed by Sunway Digital Wave Sdn Bhd as Director of Sales & Marketing, managing Sunway broadband infrastructure company.. He was promoted again to Vice President of Sales & Business Development of IOTX Group and oversea the operation for Malaysia, Thailand, Philliphine, Cambodia, USA, UK, Indonesia and UAE market.
